Your tasks as an Embedded Software Engineer

You will bring a broad range of skills and creativity to the development of state-of-the-art firmware for a next-generation vehicle charging platform. Controlling high performance electronics as well as implementing embedded firmware on ARM-based microprocessors are part of your activities.

  • Development of embedded firmware for the control of high-performance electronics
  • Collaborate across functions and departments to define and implement specifications, functions, and APIs

Your profile

This is what you should bring with you as an Embedded Software Engineer:

  • B.Eng., B.Sc. or higher in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience in embedded firmware development using C/C++
  • Hands-on experience in development for Linux, RTOS and bare-metal systems. FreeRTOS experience is an advantage
  • Good understanding and knowledge of one or more of the following: CAN, SPI, I2C, ModBus
  • Experience with software tools, source control systems, and data management tools, especially gcc, git, Confluence, and JIRA
  • Confident ability to understand schematics and apply knowledge of electronics in creating and troubleshooting PCBAs
  • Confident and familiar with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol debuggers, DVMs, soldering irons, and home-built dev kits
  • Proactive, communicative personality who enjoys working as part of a geographically diverse team
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile development model and complete tasks as well as projects with minimal supervision
